The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
Formats
Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The Industry Academia and Research Conclave 2025 is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all stages of the publication process. Authors, reviewers, to ensure the credibility, transparency, and quality of the scholarly record.
1. Author Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism. Proper acknowledgment of all sources and contributions must be made.
The same research must not be submitted to more than one conference or journal simultaneously.
All authors should have made a significant contribution to the research and approved the final version of the manuscript.
Any potential conflict of interest or financial support that could influence the research must be clearly disclosed.
Authors are responsible for correcting any errors or inaccuracies discovered after submission or publication.
2. Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers must provide fair, unbiased, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and not use unpublished material disclosed in a submission for personal advantage.
Conflicts of interest that may affect objectivity must be declared prior to accepting a review assignment.
Constructive feedback should be provided to help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.
Peer Review Process
The paper submission and review process will be managed through Microsoft CMT (Conference Management Toolkit) to ensure a structured and transparent workflow. Each submitted paper will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, where it will be evaluated by at least two/three expert reviewers specializing in the relevant research domain. This process aims to maintain high academic standards by assessing the originality, technical quality, relevance, and clarity of each submission before acceptance.
Call for Thesis Presentation
Guidelines
Interested candidates are required to submit their application through the provided online link.
The candidate's dissertation must be successfully defended within the specified period, i.e., between 1st July 2024 and 30th June 2025. Candidates whose dissertation falls outside this time frame will not be eligible to apply.
Applications will be reviewed, and candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for the next stage.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to present their research work in front of an expert panel.
Each candidate will be allotted five minutes to deliver their presentation.
The presentation must be prepared in PowerPoint format (PPT), highlighting the key objectives, methodology, findings, and significance of the work.
Candidates are advised to keep their presentation concise, clear, and focused on the main contributions of their research.

Plenary Speakers
Prof Posinasetti Nageswara Rao
Dr. P. N. Rao is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. He served as a Professor in the Department of Industrial Technology at the University of Northern Iowa, USA, since 2001. Prior to this, he served as Professor of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi. He also completed postdoctoral research at UMIST, Manchester (1980-81) and Loughborough University of Technology, UK (1989).
Dr. Rao's research interests include Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Sustainability, Metal Cutting, CNC, CAPP, CIM, Tool Design, and MEMS/Nano Technology Education. He has authored and co-authored over 190 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. He has published six widely used textbooks with Tata McGraw-Hill, including Manufacturing Technology (Vol. 1 & 2), CAD/CAM: Principles and Applications, and Numerical Control and Computer Aided Manufacturing. Dr. Rao has actively collaborated with industries various collaborative activities.
Dr (Cdr) Arnab Das
Dr. (Cdr) Arnab Das is a researcher, maritime strategist, and entrepreneur. He is the Founder & Director of the Maritime Research Centre (MRC) under the Foundation for Underwater Domain Awareness (FUDA), Pune, which is working on a unique concept of Underwater Domain Awareness (UDA) as its main focus. He also runs his start-up, M/S NirDhwani Technology Pvt Ltd, which provides consultancies and services for high-end maritime security solutions and marine conservation support. He has over 100 publications, a book, and two book chapters to his credit.

- For current students/Ph.D. scholars/staff members: No registration fee is applicable for any category of submission (paper, product demonstration, or project presentation).
- For students/Ph.D. scholars who graduated in 2025 from NIT Meghalaya: No registration fee is applicable for any category of submission (paper, product demonstration, or project presentation).
- For external participants or accompanying persons (outside NIT Meghalaya): A registration fee of Rs. 2000/- is applicable for all categories of submission (paper, product demonstration, or project presentation).
